Description
‘Hero-glyphes’ is my first ever published Alphabet. I worked on it for almost a decade and it gives me a lot of joy. Although joy doesn’t come without misery I can say im proud of myself to have reached that point of no return. I reached a point in my life where I cannot imagine to not play with letters, not fiddling around, not bending, extending, forming them. Letters are such a fundamental part of our life but rarely somebody is aware about that. we would never ever have reached a point of evolution without some fundamental forms to allow me to explain to you what I mean.
Now in graffiti its not to much about what I write but how I write it. I can therefore not only tell you what I want to say, but I can deliver emotions. Of course somebody might not feel what I feel when looking at my Alphabet but still, they will probably get an idea of whats going on. Most likely actually they see things you cannot see which are shockingly true about yourself. I made that experience with another painting called ‘Subtle Pain’ on an exhibition one years ago. I asked her what she thinks is going on in that person’s mind and the answer I received was surprising and inspiring facts about myself. I never met her before this encounter though.
Long story short: not only should we communicate what we think but also what we feel, and since words are quite limited when it comes to describing feelings we can use the form of art to deliver and express ourselves. Although it’s a long way and a lot of practice, its worth the effort. Thanks for everybody supporting me. Especially my parents; and my brother for introducing me to graffiti in the first place.
